Impact

Impact is a kids' club for children in School Years 3 to 6 (aged 7 to 10).

It is held on the second and fourth Sundays every month in term time between 17:00 and 18:30 at the Drake Community Centre. We play games, do group activities and practice teamwork in a fun and caring environment. A typical afternoon could involve playing football and volleyball, making pizzas, doing relay races to earn team points and a craft activity. Each session, we also spend time learning about God together and the kids have time for drinks and a snack.

At the end of each term, we celebrate the achievements of the group and give prizes for the individuals and teams who have gained most points during the term. The kids can earn extra points by coming to Impact for five sessions in a row or by bringing friends. In July, we go to a great festival for children held at the Stubbers Adventure Centre in Upminster. This is a day out packed full of activities with an emphasis on worship and encouraging the children to grow in their relationship with Jesus - or to start this adventure!
