Information about Alpha

All you wanted to know about Christianity, but were afraid to ask.
  • What is the point of life?
  • If there is a God, why is there so much suffering in the world?
  • What happens when we die?
  • What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?
  • How do we deal with guilt?
  • And more...

The church runs a course called Alpha which is a way of finding out for yourself what Christians believe, and whether it makes sense. The decisions you reach in this course will be your own without any pressure.

ALPHA stands for:

Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. People of all ages are welcome.
Learning and laughter. It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and have fun at the same time.
People meeting together. An opportunity to get to know each other and to make new friends.
Helping one another. The small groups give you a chance to discuss issues raised during talks.
Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is regarded as too simple or too hostile.

If you are interested in Alpha, or would like to learn a little bit more about it before you commit to the course; we are having an Alpha Supper (date, time and venue above). We well be enjoying a buffet style meal together, informal conversation and a short DVD on what the Alpha Course is all about. If you have any questions, they can be answered at the meal. If you would like to attend the meal, please click below and complete your details:
