Overview of the Old Testament
If you have always wanted a general overview and understanding of the Old Testament that will help you as you read and study the Bible, then this course is for you. The eight sessions will take you chronologically through the Old Testament focusing on the main characters and events. At the end of the eight sessions you will:
- Have clear knowledge of the key events of the Old Testament
- Understand how the Old Testament hangs together
- Be able to talk about the impact of the Old Testament on your faith.
The course will be led by David Bareham with other contributors as we go through the series. It will be held on Sunday evenings, 18:00 to 20:00 [dates are in the calender below] at the Chafford Hundred Community Church Offices. The offices are next to the Chafford Hundred rail station, and free car parking is available.

Session 1 - Creation and Destruction Session 2 - From Ur to Egypt Session 3 – Coming Out and Entering In Session 4 – The Judges Session 5 – The Monarchy Session 6 – A Divided Kingdom Session 7 – Captivity Session 8 – Restoration
There is no cost for this course, all we ask is that if you register for the course you commit to attend every session and to be on time. There is a limited number of places which will be allocated as the registrations are received.
